Our Ongoing work includes the following:

• Communicating with elected officials and city/county staff to advocate for the interests of Charlotte East residents and businesses.
• Assisting neighborhoods by providing information on how to obtain needed services and how to deal to planning and zoning issues.
  Working with area businesses to implement a Business Organization District.
• Keeping residents and business owners updated on issues that affect our community through our general meetings and email communications.
• Cultivating dialog with school principals and the school board to ensure our students receive the highest caliber of education and the services they need.
• Increasing communication and fostering a good working relationship between police officers and the areas they serve.
  Partnering with other Charlotte East groups to support each other in pursuit of our common goals and interests.
• Sponsoring candidate forums prior to elections to educate voters.
